Incentives
Making Green a priority, the current administration announced a host of initiatives to further the cause of saving energy, reducing our carbon footprint and increasing the country’s energy-independence. New initiatives and related incentives are announces almost weekly. This is good news but at the same time it also makes keeping current of what is available close to impossible. A lot of the announced incentives are not intended for the public but rather aimed at research into future sustainable solutions, at plans on the state and municipal levels, or are intended for low-income residents. Green Energy Act keeps close track of the various incentives and advises our clients on what may be appropriate for them. When applicable, we help, and, at times, submit for incentives on our clients’ behalf.
Many of the incentives would require payment of much of the green solution’s cost upfront. Reimbursement is received later either by a check (from the state/government) and/or by tax credits. From the individual’s perspective, all in all, the incentives can be divided into two major categories – incentives from the local government e.g. state, and incentives from the federal government.
In order to best accommodate you, we are providing on this page links to official web sites that list up to date incentives information. We are also posting here some of the more popular requested incentives, but keep in mind that these may be occasionally outdated when new updates are received and not yet posted to our site. We make NO assurances you will receive these incentives. Green Energy Act is working closely with our clients to make sure they receive the maximum incentive applicable and available for them!
